I have a uv-project with a custom default pypi registry.

and are you applying the registry URLs through config? Or they're being extracted from the pyproject.yaml?

I guess they will be extracted from pyproject.toml, or the uv.lock file. In our default config.js, the default remote differs slightly

So what it sounds like is that the tools.uv.index>url field is being applied to all extracted dependencies in the pyproject.yaml, but one of them is a python version which doesn't use the pypi datasource, so shouldn't get that registryUrls setting.

The logic is probably in here:
