Delete button doesn't work in Non-Modal Shell

Pressing Delete button on the keyboard actually sends the signal to the main program, so any element selected in the main program will be deleted instead of code in the shell. The behavior is the same in both shell and pad.
I'm running newest RPS on Revit 2018.1
