Minor Feature Request: Searchable projects

Problem description

I'm maintaining over 50+ repos, and so switching between them means scrolling through the rest. I've been getting by using middle click drag scrolling but this could be better.

Preferred solution

Add a search input fixed at the top to filter huge lists of repos.

Thanks a lot for reporting, and absolutely, the current selector gets unwieldy quickly.

Even though this should eventually be mitigated by a CLI integration that allows things like cli . to open GitButler on the current working directory, I also think that switching between recent projects should be easier.

It's notable that in V3 this will soon be more of a recent-projects list, as eventually the process of opening GitButler on a project will be instant by default.

That’s a good UX improvement. Since we're currently migrating from V2 to V3, we're primarily focused on V3 unless there's a critical issue in V2. Just a heads-up — V3 already includes a search box when there are more than 5 projects:
