I have a small issue though, I get "Unable to decrypt message" for all chat history, Have you ever encountered that?

I don't have that issue because I've been in the chat since the beginning. Maybe ask the question in chat?

hey.. having difficulty with ./sndev start, not sure if the dev chat is the best place to discuss that. hoping to kick in on some tickets.

trouble appears to start with

                    app     | fatal: detected dubious ownership in repository at '/app'
                    app     | To add an exception for this directory, call:

                    app     |   git config --global --add safe.directory /app

had the feeling that there might be some docker build step that i'm missing in the README.

I'm using MacOS & i suspect there's a permissions issue preventing the creation of /app in the Docker container... though i'm not aware of any docker permission that i'm failing to provide.

If I remember and read #373 (comment), the error means that /app is owned by a different user than .git. But this error should no longer happen.

Do you own the source folder? That's the expected directory permission at least.

Edit # 10: Keeping this for posterity, but seems like I also had the /app error. Adding what git recommended on the command line did the trick:

git config --global --add safe.directory /app

I get an error when running ./sndev start:

dependency failed to start: container for service "app" is unhealthy

Everything got downloaded, compiled, and built; bitcoin, lnd etc. on the console. Most services work, DB, creating ./sndev login, but localhost:3000 hangs

On a note, I had to document all the lines having a restart property on docker-compose.yml because I'm running an older version of macOS (11) and it won't let me update :(

Mhh, not sure why this error continues to happen. IIRC the error is triggered by the git call in next.config.js if directory permissions are wrong. But sounds like you resolved it and don't need any further help?

Hey, I just tried to login with my own credentials and it worked. Are you sure your credentials are correct? I saw the same warning about the identity server but it still worked.
